The Bob Jones Band Boosters exist to support the Band Director and his program, primarily through fundraising and people power.

The Band Boosters meet the second Thursday of every month during the school year at 7 p.m. in the band room. All band parents are invited to attend--important decisions affecting your child are made, and your input is needed!!

The Band Boosters give a lot to the Band program, but they'll quickly tell you they get a lot in return. Friendships, cooperation and the knowledge that they're supporting an important part of their children's educations make us happy to help. Many of the parents who devote large blocks of time to the Band program do so because it's one of the few ways to be actively and directly involved in their high school child's activities. There are plenty of ways to help out without hearing, "Oh, mom......!"

The Band Mamas are a group of ladies with flexible-enough schedules that allow them to accompany the band on daytime events, work during Band Camp, measure for uniforms and stop by the bandroom during the day to "help" Mr. Thornton.
