Normally, watching the Bob Jones Patriots participate in Marching Band competitions is beautiful: patriotic uniforms, bright blue sky with streaming sunshine, a light breeze.....but at this competition it rained all day long. The Marching Patriots spent 90 minutes rehearsing at the school, sloshing around on the rain-soaked field. They changed into dry uniforms, boarded the bus and headed for Decatur. Fortunately for us the rain clouds parted long enough for us to perform without ponchos and with plumes......and we received terrific ratings. Just goes to show you what kind of dedicated people make up the marching band world. Anyone else would have called off the event.

Bob Jones Participation Results:
Drum Majors Superior
Percussion Superior
Color Guard Excellent
Majorettes Superior (and Best in Class!!)
Band Superior (Second runner-up for best in class)
