Marching Patriots
2000 Season Marching Competitions

September 30 the Marching Patriots traveled to Decatur and Trinity, Alabama to compete in back-to-back marching competitions. October 7 was the Vanderbilt Marching Invitational in Nashville and October 14 we traveled to Jacksonville State University's Southern Classic.  It was exhausting circuit but very rewarding. All that hard work and determination netted us:

• all Superior Performance, band
• all Superior performance, percussion
• all Superior performance, color guard
• all Superior performance, majorettes
• all Superior performance, drum majors
• Best in class, band(three times)
• Best in class, percussion (twice)
• Best in class, majorettes (twice)
• Best in class, drum majors
• Best in show, band (twice)
• Best in show, percussion (twice)
• Best in show, drum majors

And there SHOULD have been an award for BEST LOGISTICS TEAM for the mammoth undertaking of our BIG FLAG PROJECT.
