With our Spring Trip in mind, the Bob Jones percussion
line set out to create an indoor Drum Line routine. We debuted it at the
Fiesta-Val competition at Jamestown High School in Williamsburg, VA this
May and took first place in this national contest!
Thanks to everyone for their support--directors, fellow students, parents,
audience. It's nice to be appreciated!
The photos of the percussion line in uniform is the actual
trophy-winning performance. The other shots (taken outdoors) are rehearsals
the day before. There is no way, short of a video, to catch the full spirit
of this performance. The interaction, the freestyle, the precision, the
intensity--it was awesome!
